A Blog Break

So if you haven't noticed it's been a couple of months. I've noticed, and I've felt it tugging at me. I have photos piling up and stories to share . . . but so little time and energy for the posting and the sharing. I also think I've come up against the dreaded 7-year itch. Technically I started this blog 8 years ago (amazing) but I've been feeling the itch for at least a year so the term applies. I just don't feel the same drive and desire to blog as I used to, and it's becoming more of a chore than a joy. Will I look back at this time and wish I'd blogged more? Probably. Will the three or four people who read my blog miss my photos and longwinded asides? Maybe one or two of them will. :-) But I'm also learning to listen to myself and balance what I want to do with what I need to do and what I absolutely must do . . . and for right now blogging doesn't really fit in any of those buckets.

So before I go, a photo. My favorite one from the photo shoot in Utah this summer. And who knows, I might pop in with a blog post now and then. Or at least a photo or two. Or maybe I won't! No commitment! Love you guys.
